Wondrous Discovery in the World

Students will choose a well known place in the world to collect information about it and create a travel brochure.  They will need to find 4-5 non-fictional pieces of information about their place.  They will pretend that something strange or wonderful has just been discovered in this place.  They will need to include 3-5 pieces of fictional information that has been a result of this discovery.  (The discovery can be anything magical, mystical, fantasy.)  The brochure will be graded on requirements, appeal, neatness, conventions, information, fictional element, and bibliography.
