Davenport is a rural farming community. We are located 40 miles west of Spokane, on Highway 2. Annual acitivtes include the Pioneer Days, Lincoln County Fair, and Hometown Christmas.
Pioneer Days: held the third weekend of July, includes events such as a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, car show, parade, and activities in the park.
Lincoln County Fair: held the last week of August gives local people the chance to exhibit vegetables, livestock, arts and crafts,and various other events.
Hometown Christmas: held the weekend after Thanksgiving, this event brings the spirit of Christmas to the community, with the tree lighting, and caroling, and chili feed.
Blood Drive: the davenport community gives blood bi-annually at the high school ran blood drives to help the Inland Northwest Blood Bank.
