Experienced Staff
HPP inc. is composed of some of the finest cycle craftsmen on the west coast. Our welding and machine shop engineers are led by none other than Al (the pedal pusher) Matter, Al is a master metallurgist and recumbent enthusiast who brings over thirty years of metallurgy, machining, and engineering experience to HPP inc. Each and every recumbent is manufactured under his watchful eyes. K. Michael Langford leads the design team and directs the CAD drafters to keep the tightest of specs while detailing the blueprints for all frames and components. Al Matter has one very important rule in the shops, that every single product must be perfect. Even management has to ask permission to enter his areas due to his strict policies of employee safety.

Research & Development
Our R & D department staff are out in the field on a constant basis attending as many HPV (human powered vehicle) events as they can hop a plane for. They do this just to research the riders wants, needs, and wishes. They then bring these ideas back to the labs where they turn them into realities. "Listening to the cyclists requirements is far more important than broadcasting our own successes".

CAUTION: Draws Crowds
Many of our customers report that it is sometimes hard to ride their recumbents in populated areas do to drawing crowds. We ourselves have found this to be true. Our factory riders like to test our prototypes for handling and agility in the real world, that is why they can be found riding in such places as public parks, downtown streets, and outdoor events. In many instances they are crowded around and asked to show their recumbents and answer questions for the curious. Our chief Factory rider states "the best way to answer their questions, is to let them try one", which he gladly does.

Teamwork
We here at HPP inc. We are a real team, even away from work we can usually be found hanging out together. Whether we are working a cycling event together, or just out taking a company ride, our closeness creates teamwork that rivals even the largest companies. However, you won't find any stuffed suits here, we all take a hands on approach to the bikes and wouldn't want to soil the silk. We work hard at keeping the flow of information and product moving, that is when we are not performing gags, or playing tricks on each other in the factories.
