need for these functions, not realizing that without them we never could have received nor maintained  our  tax exempt status thereby avoiding sales tax at our meetings saving our members thousands of dollars every year.  While at the same time our Society has provided our members with opportunities to travel throughout our country and even Europe for minimum cost.  As a result many of our most active members tie their vacations into our meetings so that they can take advantage of this opportunity.
    Because of our dues literally thousands of young people have been touched by the sacrifices of our forefathers.  Even more importantly our programs are penetrating into classrooms everywhere so that our precious heritage will never be lost.
